Blood Pressure Support
High blood pressure, or hypertension, is a major risk factor for heart attack or stroke. The heart “beat” is the muscular contraction that pushes blood through the arteries. The amount of resistance to that pulse of blood flow is the “blood pressure.” ...Doctors often do not know why the pressure is elevated, called essential or idiopathic hypertension. There are many possible causes. If the arteries are partially blocked by plaque buildup, or if they are hard and inelastic, the resistance to blood flow can be increased. Hypertension is a serious problem and should be treated under a doctor’s supervision. Many doctors, however, are quick to prescribe medication. According to much research, medication should not be the treatment of choice if possible. Instead, discuss with your doctor the possibility of non drug remedies, including nutritional and herbal supplements. Read MoreShowing - of results
