Eleutherococcus 1:2
Also known as Siberian Ginseng, Eleutherococcus
is an adaptogenic, immuno-modulating herb.

Who will benefit from this herb?
• Those suffering from stress, fatigue, burn out, and frequent
colds brought on by stress.
Phyto-Tech™ Eleutherococcus 1:2 provides 500 mg./ml (30
drops) of Eleuthero senticosis root.
As a true adaptogenic herb, it modulates how the body
responds to stress by being a hormonal tonic to the stress
axis—the hypothalamus, pituitary, and adrenal glands. By
enhancing the body’s ability to adapt to stress, the body can
perform at a higher level. Too much stress creates chemical
changes in the body that create a host of problems. Eleuthero
prevents this from happening.
Eleuthrococcus is ideal for those who the more hot, stimulant
ginsengs would be innapropriate, i.e. “those with passion and
fire.” Eleuthero is not a true ginseng. It is the only non-
heating ginseng, so it is indicated for those who have an
adverse effect from Chinese or American ginseng, but still
want what ginseng can do for them. It is a great long-term
tonic for those who simple do too much and want to avoid
burn out.
Caution: German Commission E recommends caution if you
have high blood pressure.
Dosage:
20-60 drops, 2-3 times a day, or as needed, in juice or water.
Consider it a Long-term tonic, and do not expect immediate
results (allow one to three months).
Eyebright 1:3
Historically, considered the “cure for all evils of
the eye.”

Who would benefit by using this herb?
• Those with hayfever, allergies, respiratory congestion, sinus
infections, allergic conjunctivitis and allergic ear infections.
In other words, Eyebright can be considered environmental
allergy tonic.
Eyebright is widely used as a topical treatment for various eye
conditions, but due to concerns about potential microbial
contamination and hygenic problems, we do not recommend
this. For eye problems, including blepharitis, conjunctivitis
and styes, use it orally as an adjunct to ophthalmic
medication.
Ingredients:
Phyto-Tech™ Eyebright contains Eyebright Herb (Euphrasia
officinalis), wild harvested, in a 1:3 ratio (333 mg/ml) (30
drops), in a base of grain alcohol and purified water.
Dosage:
30-60 drops 2-3 times per day or as need in juice or water.
For acute allergy attacks, take 60-90 drops 3-4 times per day
for 2-3 days.
Fenugreek 1:3
Fenugreek has been used to aid digestion, and as
a general tonic. Recent interest has focused more
on its apparent hypoglycemic actions.

Who might benefit by taking this herb?
• Those with Type 2 diabetes, blood sugar swings, insulin
resistance.
• Those with high cholesterol, artherosclerosis, high
triglycerides and digestive problems.
Ingredients:
Each l ml (30 drops) of liquid extract contains 333 mg of full
spectrum, organic Fenugreek Seed (Trigonella foenum-
graecum); Each veggie cap contains 575 mg of full spectrum,
organic Fenugreek Seed.
Indications:
Fenugreek, native to Asia and Southeastern Europe, has a
long history of use as both a spice and a medicine. The seeds
are composed of fiber, primarily the water-soluble fiber
galactomannan, proteins, lipids, steroidal saponins, alkaloids,
and C-glycoside flavones. The taste and odor of Fenugreek
resembles maple syrup.
Animal and human studies have shown Fenugreek reduces
blood glucose levels by slowing absorption of sugars in the
stomach and stimulating insulin production. Patients with
mild diabetes taking Fenugreek were able to reduce or stop
drug therapy due to better blood glucose control. Fenugreek
fiber supplementation was found to reduce hunger, increase
satiety and the postprandial insulin response in obese
subjects. It also has been shown to reduce serum cholesterol
and in patients with hypercholesterolemia. Taking Fenugreek
seed powder capsules reduced total cholesterol and low-
density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol.
Fenugreek helps stimulate milk production in lactating
women. Research has shown it can increase milk production
within 24 to 72 hours of consumption. It can also stimulate
uterine contractions and induce labor, therefore it is not
recommended during pregnancy.
