Fenugreek seed has been shown in studies to reduce blood
glucose, serum cholesterol and carbohydrate-induced
hyperglycemia. It is high in fiber, saponins, and alkaloids,
which are believed to be responsible for its beneficial effects
on blood sugar. It has also been found to have anti-
inflammatory and diuretic properties
The trace mineral Chromium assists the body in utilizing
insulin. Reports indicate that Chromium deficiency may
cause metabolic abnormalities such as insulin-resistance and
hyperlipidemia. Studies have found niacin-bound chromium
(Chromium nicotinate) to be effective in improving insulin
resistance, reducing cholesterol levels, and improving body
composition.
Stevia is an herb that is 250-300 times sweeter than table
sugar, however it does not negatively alter blood glucose and
