It also has the ability to form tight molecular complexes with carcinogens and in doing so blocks the body’s absorption of them. In a placebo controlled study conducted in China Chlorophyll supplementation was found to decrease DNA damage caused by aflatoxin, a liver carcinogen produced by fungus in moldy grains and legumes. Scientists hope that in populations with unavoidable dietary aflatoxin exposure Chlorophyll supplementation could significantly reduce the risk of developing liver cancer. Cleanse Complex 1:2 A herbal formula based on traditional concepts of a rapid, systemic (full body) cleansing. 4 fl oz - Product Code: 57073 Many of the herbs used in Phyto-Tech™ Cleanse Complex have a long tradition of use in naturopathic medicine for many toxic conditions. The theory behind using Phyto- Tech™ Cleanse Complex is that it will result in blood and tissue cleansing through stimulating the organs that do this innately, including the liver, urinary tract, skin, lymph and bowels. Herbs do not really actually cleanse the blood and tissues directly, but instead, stimulate the organs to increase the rate in which they do this naturally. Phyto-Tech™ Cleanse Complex will help in the elimination of cellular metabolic waste, dietary toxemia and environmental toxins. It is indicated for internally and externally generated toxins. Detoxification is thought to help stimulate organs that eliminate the toxemia from drug usage. It can be used in smaller more moderate doses if a slower cleanse is desired. Faster cleanses can result in more uncomfortable acute healing symptoms that might not be desired, but are usually harmless (i.e., loose stool, nausea, headaches, skin discharges). These symptoms can be avoided by decreasing the dose or pace. Phyto-Tech™ Cleanse Complex works best in conjunction with other cleansing protocols, such as dietary changes, increasing water consumption and exercise. Ingredients: Phyto-Tech™ Cleanse Complex contains the following herbs: Oregon Grape Root, Red Clover Blossoms, Fresh Burdock Root, Fresh Dandelion Root, Alfalfa Leaf, Yerba Mansa Root, Red Root, Vegetable Glycerin, Deionized Water, Natural Flavors Dosage: Pour entire contents into 1 gallon of pure water and drink over 3 hours. When taken by mouth, Cannabidiol seems safe. "Cannabidiol in doses of up to 300 mg daily have been taken by mouth safely for up to 6 months. Higher doses of 1200-1500 mg daily have been taken by mouth safely for up to 4 weeks. A prescription cannabidiol product (Epidiolex) is approved to be taken by mouth in doses of up to 10-20 mg/kg daily. Cannabidiol sprays that are applied under the tongue have been used in doses of 2.5 mg for up to 2 weeks." Some reported side effects of cannabidiol include dry mouth, low blood pressure, light headedness, and drowsiness. Signs of liver injury have also been reported in some patients, but this is less common. For topical and cosmetic products, there isn't enough reliable information yet to know if cannabidiol presents safety issues or side effects, and what they might be. Special Precautions & Warnings: Pregnancy and breast-feeding: There is not enough reliable information about the safety of taking cannabidiol if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Stay on the safe side and avoid use. Children: While the prescription cannabidiol product has been used on children, and approved for use on children 2 years old and older, and seems safe, we suggest you only use CBD on children under doctor's recommendation and supervision, Are there any interactions with medications? If you are taking medication, check with your physician or pharmacist. Here are two drugs, for example, that you should avoid with CBD: Clobazam (Onfi). Do not take this drug with CBD. Clobazam is changed and broken down by the liver. Cannabidiol might decrease how quickly the liver breaks down clobazam. This might increase the effects and side effects of clobazam. Valproate. Do not take CBD with this drug.Valproic acid can cause liver injury. Taking cannabidiol with valproic acid might increase the chance of liver injury. Discontinuation or reduction in dosage of cannabidiol and/or valproic acid might be needed. Dosage and use: As already mentioned, it is difficult to define appropriate dosages. This is unfortunate, but it should become less of a problem as the regulatory issues resolve themselves. Whereas most CBD products currently available contain lower levels of CBD than most research studies, the best advice might be to start off using the dosage recommended on the package and make adjustments depending on results. CBD is soluble in fat, so taking cannabidiol with a meal that is high in fat increases the amount of CBD that is absorbed by the body. If you are looking for a product that has a high or substantial quantity of CBD, you might want to favor a product that lists the actual amount of "CBD. Listing the amount of "cannabinoids" is not necessarily the the same thing. "Hemp Oil" should not be expected to contain much CBD. "Hemp Extract" does. Cannabidiol (CBD): What is it?
