Devil's claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) originates from
the Kalahari and Savannah desert regions of South and
Southeast Africa. The part used is the secondary tubors.
Currently, the major uses of devil's claw are as an anti-inflam-
matory and pain reliever for joint diseases, back pain, and
headache. Devil’s Claw enjoys widespread popularity as a
treatment for mild joint pain throughout Europe. This use is
supported by several clinical studies.
Devil’s Claw also increases gastric digestive enzymes, thus
