Have A Hankering For Weight Loss?
Crave no more with these natural ingredients
Chocolate chips were calling my name. I crept into the
kitchen at 2 a.m., a sleepy stupor weighing my eyelids
down. “I’m not hungry,” my stomach protested. “Don’t
care,” my brain fought back. The ensuing battle was
ruthless.
My brain won.
If you’re trying to lose weight, there’s nothing more
frustrating than your own cravings. Anyone who’s been
there knows that this is one instance when the phrase
“you are your own worst enemy” rings true. But let’s take
the word “you” out, and replace it with “your hormones.”
For so many people, hormones cause cravings, and
cravings cause…caving. What’s going on in the body that
makes a bag of chips or a candy bar so tempting, anyway?
And how can we change the process?
The good news is that there are options. Natural support
can break through internal barriers to weight loss.
Causes of Temptation
Temptation has many causes. (Aside from that commer-
cial for cookies you watched before bed.) Temptation has
many physical causes—processes that create what we
know as cravings.
Yes, you gain weight through consuming more energy/cal-
ories than you expend. But it’s a bit more complicated:
Excess weight is actually associated with glucose
conversion, insulin release and fat storage—all of which
affect and are affected by appetite control and the feeling
of being satisfied and full.
Two hormones in your body can have a huge effect on
your appetite. One is called adiponectin and the other is
called leptin.
In insulin resistant states, adiponectin is deficient. It is
believed that adiponectin makes you hungry and leptin
suppresses hunger. In a very overweight body, leptin
levels are always high and adiponectin levels are low.
These two hormones send two separate signals. The
signals say to the body: “I am full” and “I am not hungry.”
But in a glucose management system affected by weight,
the body might think it is glucose deficient, so it craves
sugar and carbs even though the signals are saying the
body is full!
Temptation is complicated. Even when your body knows
it’s full, it still wants more. What natural compounds can
help your body address adiponectin and leptin so you can
take the hormones’ advice seriously?
Solutions From Nature
If you want to adopt a new, healthy lifestyle, but you’re not
sure how to avoid the cravings that sneak up on you at
midnight, look no further than these natural compounds:
Raspberry Ketone, Green Coffee Bean Extract, Green Tea
and African Mango Seed (Irvingia gabonensis) are all
excellent supplements to support your normal hormone
levels and nix those cravings.
Raspberry Ketone has been all over the news lately, and
there’s a good reason why. People swear by its ability to
make users feel nice and full. It supports adiponectin
secretion, so the body gets more of the “I’m full” signal. It
also supports fat metabolism to provide the body with a
normal level of leptin.
All of that is super important to the kick-the-cravings
process, but African Mango Seed Extract can take it a
step further, addressing the glucose release and fat
storage we talked about before.
The soluble fiber in the seed supports a delay in stomach
emptying, which can lead to a change in the speed of
glucose absorption. Because a sharp increase in glucose
and insulin can cause the body to store fat for longer, if
you slow that release down, your body will store fat for a
shorter duration. Guess what? Slowed glucose release
also directly relates to normal hormone balance between
adiponectin and leptin!
Another naturally supportive ingredient, Green Coffee
Bean Extract, contains chlorogenic and caffeic acids.
Chlorogenic acid supports the slowed release of glucose
(like the African Mango), so that it directly impacts fat
storage duration. Caffeic acid supports energy, so your
body can burn more fat.
In the case of weight management, Green Coffee and
Green Tea aren’t in competition, but instead can work
together. Green Tea packs a bunch of potent polyphenols,
EGCG being the most potent. It supports energy levels and
the process of fat breakdown, also known as lipolysis.
Normal lipolysis usually means normal levels of adiponec-
tin and leptin. Through assisting with lipolysis, green tea
can help you stay out of the kitchen when you’re full, and
encourage you to hit the gym.
Find Your Happy Self
Your happy self is always in your heart. Sometimes, it
takes a lifestyle change to find it there.
With a lifestyle change that involves natural product
solutions, wave goodbye to the guilt of caving to cravings.
Cut yourself some slack. Your hormones truly are to
blame, and now, you can make choices that will help keep
those hormones in balance. Raspberry Ketone, African
Mango, Green Tea and Green Coffee Bean Extract are the
perfect choices to support your weight management
process.
Through increasing adiponectin, decreasing leptin, and
giving you the energy support you need, they’ll take what
you know about cravings and destroy it all. They’ll address
the biggest causes of weight gain: the signal that tells you
to keep right on eating, and the energy you need to get you
moving.
Try each ingredient to see what works for you, or look for
a formula that includes all four. Consulting with a health-
care practitioner, of course, is always recommended.
