This herb is traditionally used to support intestinal health.
The Black Walnut used in this supplement is derived
from the hulls while in their green state. This is when
they are most potent.
Who would benefit from this supplement? Those who
are concerned about possible parasite, fungal or bacterial
infections, including candidiasis; those with gastrointesti-
nal problems such as indigestion, diarrhea and constipa-
tion.
Fresh Black Walnut Hulls are harvested in their green
state (before they blacken) where they are more potent.
Black Walnut’s two main active chemicals are juglone
and tannins. Juglone is antibiotic and antifungal and has
a normalizing effect on intestinal tissue Tannins are
astringents that reduce secretions, relieve irritation and
tighten tissues by shrinking the top layers of the skin.
These properties led to the use of Black Walnut Hull for
treating gastrointestinal problems such as indigestion,
diarrhea and constipation. It is also considered a strong
killer of fungal infections such as athletes’ foot, Candida
Albicans and other internal and topical fungal infections.
It is a great addition to a Candida treatment protocol.
Black Walnut Hull also enjoys a reputation as a parasite
